Today the ENnie, Tomorrow the Parsec!

I've just found out that All Games Considered is now a finalist for the 2009 Best Gaming Podcast Parsec Award. I can't tell you how much of a thrill it is to be so recognized in a single year, and we're looking forward to seeing what happens. I don't know if any of the crew will be at Dragon*Con this year for the ceremony, so we'll have to see what happens there. This has been a great year for AGC, and even if we don't win, the nominations must mean we're doing something right at last.

The Parsec Awards, though, were founded by Mur Lafferty, Michael R. Mennenga, and Tracy Hickman back in, oh, 2006 I think, to recognize excellence in speculative fiction podcasting.

Our fellow finalists are:
Brilliant Gameologists (I swear, these guys are our nemeses or something! ;) )
City of Heroes Podcast
The Game Kennel
The Podge Cast

Congratulations to all! You can find all the finalists for 2009 here!

You realize this only puts MORE pressure on me to go to DragonCon. LOL ... If my car doesn't end up sucking up my bank account then yeah, I'll be there. ; )

But WOW - A ENnie AND Parsec Award nomination in the same year. Talk about originality!
